How to display rows vertically?

To display rows vertically, you can use SET LIST command of ISQL. In this case, only two columns are printed: field name and field value. Example:

SQL> select cust_no, customer, country from customer;

CUST_NO CUSTOMER COUNTRY
============ ========================= ===============
1001 Signature Design USA
1002 Dallas Technologies USA
1003 Buttle, Griffith and Co. USA

SQL> set list;
SQL> select cust_no, customer, country from customer;

CUST_NO 1001
CUSTOMER Signature Design
COUNTRY USA

CUST_NO 1002
CUSTOMER Dallas Technologies
COUNTRY USA

CUST_NO 1003
CUSTOMER Buttle, Griffith and Co.
COUNTRY USA
