Why does my stored procedure only return a single record?
If you have a selectable stored procedure, make sure you use SUSPEND to make a record available to the client and use SELECT on the client end to retrieve values. Example:
SET TERM !! ;
CREATE PROCEDURE p1 ( x integer )
RETURNS ( y integer )
AS
BEGIN
y = x * 2;
suspend;
END!!
SET TERM ; !!
Example usage:
SELECT y FROM p1(10);
