How to remove Firebird user from Mac OSX login screen?

After installation of Firebird on MacOS X, a Firebird user icon will show up in your login options. To hide user from the list, use the following command:

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow HiddenUsersList -array-add firebird

Now, if you only had one account, this change will now show Other... instead of just your main user. To hide the Other... option, run this command:

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow SHOWOTHERUSERS_MANAGED -bool FALSE

This has been tested on 10.10 Yosemite and 10.9 Mavericks, but it should work on all OS X versions.
