How to create a for or while loop in stored procedure or trigger?

For loops are not supported, but you can translate any for loop into while loop anyway. Example:

CREATE PROCEDURE sp1 (start_val integer, end_val integer, ...)
AS
declare variable i integer;
BEGIN
i = start_val;
while (i < end_val) do
begin
...
i = i + 1;
end
END
